Hi, I’m Su – Artist, Teacher, and Your Creative Wingwoman

I’ve worn a few hats in my time – from English and Dramatic Arts to Accountancy and IT – but my heart has always belonged to the studio.

The mix of business know-how and creative passion has shaped how I teach today: practical, inspiring and focused on helping you find your unique voice as an artist.

I know what it’s like to paint something amazing in a tutor-led class… then feel lost trying to repeat that magic at home.

That’s why the SMArt Art Academy is different.

Each month we focus on a new theme and dig into the why and how behind it, so you can confidently create using your own references, in your own style!

What I Believe

Art isn’t just about producing pretty pictures. It’s about expression, confidence, and that wonderful feeling of losing yourself in the creative flow.

It’s also a brilliant stress-reliever (trust me, the accountant in me has proof!).

My job is to give you the skills, structure, and encouragement you need to grow — whether you’re just starting out or ready to take your work to the next level.
